Are all Instax Mini film the same?
Two film formats are available for instax cameras—instax mini and instax WIDE. The wide and mini can’t be mixed and matched; they’re designed for specific camera models. All other #instax cameras use the 2.4 x 1.8″ instax mini format, as do the Polaroid 300 cameras.
Do Fujifilm instax photos fade?
If you’re using Fujifilm Instax film, then you’ll store your prints however you want. They don’t really fade and the quality stays the same. But the film needs to be shielded from daylight at the moment because otherwise you’ll get fades.

Generally we don’t recommend using film past the expiration date. Once the expiration date is passed there is a chance that there can be adverse changes to the color balance.
How long can #Instax film last?
After 12 months from the date of production, it’s unlikely that the film will produce images that meet Polaroid Originals’ standards of quality. However, the aging of film depends on a number factors, including storage, temperature and humidity.
Do you have to buy ink for Fujifilm Instax?
This type of camera (instant / polaroid film cameras) use a movie sheet that’s exposed to light so as to ‘print’ the image onto the film. No additional “ink” is used or required, but you want to refill the film cartridge every 10 shots.
Can I take Instax film on a plane?
Basically, anything under ISO 800 is ok to undergo the X-ray machine. Everything ISO 800 or above should be hand checked. This includes Instax film. In general, if film does somehow undergo the scanners, browsing it once or twice is unlikely to affect the film significantly.
Do Instax cameras have a memory card?
No, they don’t. Fujifilm Instax are actually analog cameras, recording image directly on instant positive film. They don’t have a digital sensor, so there’s no data to be recorded on a SD card.
Do Instax cameras run out of ink?
The instax cameras doesn’t have ink in it. The camera has film cartridges with 10 Instant films(which has the ink/developing gel) in each cartridge. So once you are finished taking 10 photographs you begin the used cartridge and enter a replacement one which is definitely available privately stores.
How long does Instax film take to develop?
